Hey guys! On August 3, 2021, we first posted about new colour schemes that LEGO is testing out on a couple sets. The the LEGO Creator Expert Fiat 500 10271 and the LEGO Creator 3-in-1 Mighty Dinosaurs 315058. Check out that post HERE. Then on August 14, 2021, we discovered that the LEGO Creator 3-in-1 Mighty Dinosaurs 315058 had another colour added into the mix! Check that out HERE. LEGO has now added an additional feature in the LEGO Shop that addresses the consumer to make a choice on colour selection. However, the new colours that we mentioned in the past posts are not visible yet and currently only have the existing set colour to choose from. There has been no official announcement on when we might be seeing more details on this. These two sets are the only ones found so far that have this added feature.

We are cautious here and, to be honest, do not expect the sets to be available very widely, as the set numbers are more likely to be assigned to a number range that was previously used, for example, for exclusive sets at the San Diego Comic Con . It is also rather unlikely that the sets will remain in the program permanently. Presumably, the color variants are initially a test balloon. But the fact that the color selection is already integrated in the German (as well as in the other) shops gives us a little hope.”
