Hey guys! The fifth and final VIP Coin has been delayed and it will not be releasing May 1st. These ever so popular coins have consistently released on the 1st of the month, with the exception of the first coin: ‘The Castle’. We did, however, get a look at this gold coin due to LEGO accidentally sending the wrong one to a recipient who had ordered the ‘Pirate’ coin.
promobricks.de makes a good point: “It can be assumed that LEGO does not want to put additional strain on the often ailing online shop at the start of this year’s May-the-4th campaign on May 1st, 2021 when thousands of LEGO Star Wars fans go on the hunt for the 40451 Tatooine Homestead.”
brickfanatics.com questions when the new release date will be: “The question remains, though: when will we be able to get our hands on the fifth and final coin? The LEGO Group hasn’t given a specific date at the moment, but says there will be an announcement in advance of the drop, so you should at least have a little notice to prepare.”
We know that when this does get released, there will be limited quantity, as per the other four coins. Therefore, if this is on your radar, you better keep up-to-date on the LEGO news!
