Hey guys! The LEGO Monkie Kid sets were revealed on the Taiwanese online shop, Momoshop. These were developed for the Asian market, but they will most likely only be available to brand stores & LEGO.com and are set to release March 1st, 2021. The story stems from the traditional Chinese story “Journey to the West”, about the main character who travels on adventures with friends.

There is one more set 80017, but thats the only information we know so far. Since these sets are marketed in China, there is a matching animation series that is not available here. However, check out this trailer (with English subtitles) to gather more insight:
