Hey guys! Yesterday, we posed about the highly anticipated LEGO Marvel Collectible Minifigure Series 71031. Check it out HERE. Personally, I would not have noticed this small detail, but looking a little closer (and reading other LEGO blogs) you can see what appears to be a possible teaser of the return of the X-Men characters that we might expect in the foreseeable future.
YouTuber, Ashnflash, thinks that this could be the new packaging for 2022:
YouTuber, Hasan Malik, is really hoping that this teaser is the return of LEGO X-Men:
The last X-Men set that was released was back in 2017: Mighty Micros: Wolverine vs. Magneto 76073, so I’m sure this information will excite X-Men fans to no end.
thebrickfan.com: “With the Disney acquisition of Fox back in 2019, this meant that Marvel now owns the rights to the X-Men and Fantastic Four which could mean that LEGO can finally produce more products from those franchises.”
brickfinder.net: “This could mean a few things and the most desired scenario is that we’ll see more X-Men themed sets and minifigures released now that Disney has acquired the X-Men licensing back into their fold.”
zusammengebaut.com: “Why should LEGO otherwise print one of the most popular X-Men quite succinctly on a bag? Of course, it can really only have design reasons, but then you could have just used other characters like Ant-Man.”
What do you think of the polybag design? Is it a teaser for X-Men? Comment below!
